A Voice for the People who Live Here

Collingwood is changing. Our Council needs to change with it.
I’m running because young families, working people, and the people who keep this town running deserve a stronger voice in decisions about housing, infrastructure, transportation and the future of our community.

Meet Chris

Committed to Local Leadership

Chris Johnson is running to serve Collingwood with a clear focus on practical decision-making, respectful consistent community engagement, and long-term planning that reflects local priorities.

This campaign is built on listening carefully, communicating honestly, and working toward solutions that strengthen neighbourhoods, support families, and keep the town moving forward.

Priorities

Focused on What Matters

Housing People Can Actually Afford

Collingwood needs more than promises about affordability. We need practical ways for young families and working residents to actually put down roots here.

Infrastructure That Keeps Up

We can’t keep approving growth and hoping infrastructure catches up. We need to invest ahead of growth, reduce waste in our existing systems, and make our infrastructure capacity transparent to residents.

Families and Mobility

Expand childcare, youth opportunities, and transportation options that improve daily life across the community and strengthen our youth for the future.

Donate to the Campaign

This campaign is funded by people who live here. There’s no party behind
it and no corporate money — municipal campaigns in Ontario aren’t allowed
to accept either.

Signs, printing, and getting information to more than twenty thousand
eligible voters costs money. If you can help, it makes a real difference.
If you can’t, there are other ways to help further down this page and
they matter just as much.
